Diploma in Architectural Stone Carving


Applicants for the diploma course should normally hold the following qualifications:

Five GCSEs at grade A, B or C and some evidence of manual dexterity and of an ability to develop a “good eye”.This will usually be in the form of a portfolio but could take the form of previous work experience. Other essentials are an interest in the history of carving architecture and sculpture. Potential students may be asked to undertake a practical test to demonstrate aptitude at their interview.
