In October 2009, 2009 BA graduate Hatty Morris ran a competition with Cool it Schools for The Big Draw at London Zoo. That week the children who took part made nearly 300 drawings of animals, all fantastically adapted to their vision of dramatic climate change.

London Zoo is now showing Hatty’s 'extreme animals', these large scale drawings in charcoal, inspired by the children's work, take us on a journey into the future.

Hatty Morris was born in London in 1984. She graduated from Cambridge University in 2007 where she read History of Art before completing a second BA in Fine Art at City and Guilds of London Art School in 2009. Hatty draws animals in charcoal from a variety of sources including experience gained from life drawing, 16th century wildlife studies and children's drawings. These drawings present the viewer with an new and visionary Animalia for our planet.

She also organises projects at schools and museums with Cool it Schools.
