15th April 2009The Angel of Westminster - A collaboration between City & Guilds of London Art School and the House of LordsA few years ago, the Curator’s Office at the Houses of Parliament approached City & Guilds of London Art
School’s Conservation and Historic Carving Departments with a proposal to conserve and restore the figure
of an angel, once part of the sculptural decoration of Victoria Tower, as a student project. The result has been
an exciting challenge for both students and tutors alike and this exhibition showcases the work undertaken by
those who have been involved in this unique project.

8feetUp Exhibition

A new permanent exhibition of emerging artists. Exhibition opening - Thursday, 2 April (from 18.00)

Current students Rosie Jones, Ivan Cudby, Freddy Morris, Flora Bradwell, Peter Graham, Daphne Tengbergen, Thomas Baxter, Rose Seber, Bindi Harris, Erica Lewis, Reuben Marsh and Robert McSweeney will exhibit at The Three Stags, 67-69 Kennington Road,London SE1 7PZ (opening times: Sun - Thurs: 12.00-23.00; Fri - Sat 12.00-24.00).

This exciting new gallery space will exhibit a constantly changing variety of contemporary artworks including etchings and stone and wood sculpture.
