The property stands on the Shuttleworth Estate, not far from the beautifully maintained model village of Old Warden, and is managed by the Landmark Trust. In June 2008, the Heritage Lottery Fund awarded £350,000 towards its restoration.

The students were given a few 19th century photos of the House’s brackets. Based on these photos, the students are drawing and carving new brackets to match the ones in the photographs (which no longer exist). The drawings have recently been approved by the architects, the Whitworth Co-Partnership.
