Jamyang Buddhist Centre

Second year Conservation students are involved in a site project at the local Jamyang Buddhist Centre in Kennington.

Final Gilding.

The project involves initial condition assessments and treatment proposals, then carrying out the cleaning and gilding of a limestone sculpture of a Buddha Parinirvana. This sculpture was originallly carved by a former tutor from the City & Guilds of London Art School in 2000.
