Design (Architecture)

I am an architect working as a sole practitioner on residential and educational projects. I was educated at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Prior to my current situation I founded and ran Architects in Residence for seven years with Kate Cheyne, an award winning practice and worked for several London firms involved in social housing projects and bar and restaurant design before moving to France as a co-founder of architecture practice, Formworks. On returning to the UK I worked on high end private residential projects in London. I continue to exploit my bilingual skills by working on residential projects in France. My interest in education has led me to becoming a governor of a local primary school.
I am a trustee of the Women’s Design Service and a member of the Green Register of Construction Professionals and bring inclusivity and sustainability into all aspects of my work. I teach on the foundation course at the City & Guilds of London Art School and have been a guest critic at the Architecture Departments of Kingston and Brighton
