The miniaturization of the landscape is akin in purpose to the evocation of the orifice. By engendering that which is miniature with the properties of the gigantic, we meet again the sane paradox as presented between interiority and exteriority. Upon meeting the miniature the viewer establishes a physical relationship that renders him gigantic. The body becomes landscape and its orifices chasms. The perspective that these miniatures afford the viewer is that of transcendence, the observer witnesses exterior as interior.
