In my work, the figure is animated and transformed into an organ of communication. I sculpt the figures into the surface of the canvas with thick gestured marks, in order to convey the immediacy of the relationship between the image and the viewer.

My practice is influenced by the work of Goya,Bacon,Miguel Barcelo,Marlene Dumas,Luc Tuymans,David Bomberg,Juan Munoz,Rodin,Cristina Iglesias,Bill Viola and William Kentridge.
