We are delighted to announce that two of our 2016 graduates, Amanda Mostrom (BA Hons Fine Art) and Tom Platt (MA Fine Art), have been selected for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2017. They are among 47 artists from around the country selected by judges George Shaw, Caroline Achaintre and Elizabeth Price. Running since 1949, this is one of the most prestigious and competitive awards for emerging artists in the UK and we are thrilled that they have been selected. The show will open in Newcastle later in the year before touring to London.
