City & Guilds of London Art School is a unique, small-scale, ‘not for profit’ Higher Education provider, offering specialist courses at Postgraduate, Undergraduate and Foundation levels. As a charity the Art School has a mission to foster excellence in contemporary Fine Art, Historic Carving and Conservation of cultural objects. The Art School is looking to appoint a Registry Administrator: Admissions & International. The post holder will work closely with the 0.8 FTE Registry Administrator: Admissions & Quality. These two post holders will be the initial point of contact for applicant inquiries, and will be responsible for all aspects of the administration of applications and admissions onto our specialist courses, including short courses and study abroad. The Registry Administrator: Admissions & International is also responsible for assisting International students and managing the Art School’s compliance with UK Visa & Immigration expectations. As a key member of our administrative team, you will work closely with Heads of Department to support the student recruitment process.

Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have recent administrative experience in a similar role. You will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, and strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain attention to detail and to handle a varied workload as part of a team where your input is valued and makes a difference.  Experience of using Microsoft Office software, spreadsheets, databases and web applications is essential.

This post is part-time (0.8 FTE) and permanent (subject to a 6 month probationary period).  The appointment will be made according to qualification and experience on the salary range £23,500 – £26,000 per annum pro-rata. Benefits include 30 days paid annual leave and a defined contributions pension scheme.
