The Art School has been operating as an independent not-for-profit Higher Education provider with charitable status since 1971, with educational activities governed by the Board of Trustees of the charitable company – City and Guilds of London Art School Limited.
The Art School is delighted to announce that we have appointed a new Chair to the Board of Trustees: Mr Jamie Bill.
After more than thirty years in publishing, including almost twenty with Condé Nast, Jamie is now engaged as Group Partnership Director of the London Design Festival & London Design Biennale. Having previously been a Governor at the University of the Arts London, Jamie takes on the Chair for the Art School following the retirement of Robin Holland-Martin in 2019. The Deputy Chair, Laurence Benson, has overseen the Board of Trustees in the intervening twelve months.
