We are delighted to welcome Andrew Casey to the Art School as our new Vice Principal.

This is a newly established role, created to strengthen the Art School’s strategic and operational capacity. The Vice Principal will oversee income generating activity as well as Registry, Quality, IT and Site operations.

The role will be instrumental in reporting to the Office for Students, supporting delivery of the Art School’s Strategic Vision and monitoring progress against our objectives. Andrew will lead on Health & Safety and act as the key liaison with the Property Trust, the official landlord and governing body responsible for our Kennington site.

Andrew joins us from London South Bank University, where he held senior roles including Director of Operations and College Operations Manager. As part of the School of Engineering’s Executive Team, he was responsible for strategic planning and ensuring the smooth and effective running of the School, alongside delivering professional services support. He also led the establishment of the School of Engineering’s Innovation Centre, overseeing the delivery of a £1.5m innovation hub and developing industry engagement.

Previously, Andrew was Quality Enhancement Manager (Student Engagement) at Middlesex University, where he managed quality assurance processes relating to student engagement and enhanced systems to improve student participation.

Andrew brings extensive experience in strategic leadership, operations and quality enhancement, and we are delighted to welcome him to the Art School.
