Peter Logan (1952–1976)
Peter studied Woodcarving and Gilding at the Art School in 2020, returning to education after a long and varied working life. This included a 20-year career as a woodwork technician at Chelsea College of Arts.
His decision to return to study later in life stands as a testament to his enduring dedication to craft and learning and the importance of continuing creative practice beyond retirement. Peter was an engaged and committed student who brought a wealth of experience and generosity to his work. He spoke at his graduating awards ceremony sharing reflections on his experience and his return to making.
He is remembered with great affection by the Art School community.
