The City and Guilds of London Art School in Kennington (just a short walk from the underground) is looking for a part-time caretaker to join its Site Team. The Art School is a small friendly higher education institution offering degree and other courses in Fine Art, Stone and Wood Carving and in Conservation. Its premises comprise a mixture of buildings housing studios, workshops, offices and support areas.
The Cleaner is a member of a cleaning team responsible for daily aspects of morning cleaning facilities across the Art School’s sites, with a particular emphasis on communal areas and toilet facilities. Liaising with the Site Manager and other members of the cleaning team, the post holder will be required to work with due regard to health and safety and to alert the Site Manager of any health and safety and maintenance issues that become apparent.
