The beginning of this academic year has seen the creation two new Fellowship positions offered by the Art School. Zoe Schoenherr and Joshua Vaughan have been appointed as Artist’s Woodwork Fellows, who will work alongside Wood Workshop Technician David MacDiarmid.
Zoe completed her MFA in Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art in 2012, and has recently been an artist in residence at University College London, a position funded by the Leverhulme Trust. Joshua, a former student of City & Guilds of London Art School, graduated from the BA (Hons) Fine Art course in 2014, and has been curator of exhibitions and events at Bar 48 in Brixton, London.
The Fellowships will provide a great opportunity for students at the Art School to engage with two talented artists as they progress with their artistic careers, and provide the recipients with support for their on-going sculptural practices.
