These portraits are painted integrations or aggregations of variant impressions, memories and information of the object which we unconsciously operate for the communications and relationships with other people. I want to establish a field through which all segments of a face relate to issues of identity and a sense of reality. By distilling each individual impression of the model with instinctive finger painting and impacting and reconstructing them into a singular/series of portrait(s) with vivid colour combinations, my aim is to question the gaps between the facial perception of someone we usually believe is accurate and the image we create in our minds as we see the third person.
