My work is concerned with everyday life, interpreted through the mainstream tradition of figurative painting.

My recent paintings have a socio-urban theme set, mainly, in places where I have lived - particularly London and New York.

My purpose is to use the medium of paint to elevate the status of the mundane, the ephemiral or unconsidered object to the role of important signifier of contemporary life
